For the first time, former Ruus Shakespeareans got to spend a week long trip to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, Oregon. The students spent all year studying 4 plays before attending the trip. They watched The Odyssey, Julius Caesar, Henry IV Part 1 and Henry IV Part 2, and an incredibly hilarious production of The Merry Wives of Windsor which was everyone's unanimous favorite!

The students also found time to read John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men, see Crater Lake National Park, attempt Escape Ashland, and spend some time playing at the park. Thank you to the new friends we made in Ashland. We hope to see you next year!
